What is the Christian Character Scholarship Fund?
The GARBC offers a scholarship to up to 24 high school graduates each year, helping qualifying high school seniors continue in their spiritual development and embark on their journey to serve in local churches and ministries.
What does the fund support?
Scholarships totaling up to $25,000 will be awarded by participating schools to selected students who exemplify Christian character and express an ongoing desire to invest their lives in local church ministry.
How are scholarship winners selected?
The GARBC Council of 18 reviews applications and selects the most qualified students who desire to pursue Christian higher education with a participating school, exemplify godly Christian character through their service and testimony in the community, and actively serve in a church in fellowship with the association.
How can I support the fund?
Each year, the GARBC strives to provide matching funds to the dollar amount awarded by the participating Christian colleges – up to $25,000. Please consider donating to this fund to help us meet our goal of raising an additional $25,000 by May 31, 2022.
